They may be a fairly easy repair with a woodor self taping screw, that hardest part will be getting access to the front of theframe/plate to get the screw started. Look at eh last 2 photos. AS IS. **** Original Description** AKAI Stereo Cassette Deck GXC-709DPlayer/Recorder Cleaned/Inspected/Tested Works Perfectly This vintage early 1970s AKAI cassetteplayer/recorder is in excellent condition overall, it does not appear to havebene used much, just stored and was taken care of. The VU meter needles move smoothly and evenly,and every function moves or adjusts easily. The head is clean. I cannot guarantee the condition of the belts, but itplays, fast forwards, and rewinds cassettes perfectly, with no lag or waveringin the sound. This is a High QualityJapanese made unit, built to last. Look closely at the pictures and ASKQUESTIONS, BEFORE BIDDING, DO NOT Make Assumptions, then get mad at me whenyour Assumptions are wrong.
