years of experience in business intelligence - Some of those years MUST be with MicroStrategy Gather and analyze business requirements and transform them into innovative BI solutions that effectively facilitate and enhance the development of the company's suite of products Hands-on experience with project setup, schema creation, development
of queries, documents and dashboard Experience in MicroStrategy SDK for Authentication and UI Customizations. 2
years experience with structured programming languages; Java, C, C++. Very strong SQL skills with the ability to optimize, analyze, and improve database SQL performance preferably in Vertica. Experience in developing and tuning queries for ad hoc, canned reporting, and dashboard use, with back end system such as Vertica. Work with a small team of developers and delegate work as needed Train and mentor less senior team members in charge of the configuration and maintenance of the MicroStrategy environment Participate in data model design and data build for the enterprise data Participate in establishing processes and best practices around development standards, version control, quality control, deployment, maintenance and change management Experienced with data warehousing concepts and techniques including extensive knowledge and use of star/snowflake schema Proficient in ETL - Must be able to construct and troubleshoot very complex queries Experience to interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and different experience levels. Excellent analytical, logical and problem-solving skills Excellent spoken and written communication skills Self-motivated, quality-oriented, delivery-oriented, and able to self-prioritize work Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment Mentor and train business staff so that they can achieve self-service using the developed MicroStrategy platform components.
