Responsibilities Develop overall vision, strategy and execution plan for the technology sourcing function Work in partnership with the infrastructure engineering teams to develop a sanctioned supply base, develop strategic partnerships that address our infrastructure needs and on an ongoing basis continuously improve supplier performance Develop end-to-end set of business capabilities required to scale the server, storage and networking business ahead of the needs of the infrastructure.
Partner with Finance to ensure all Facebook financial statements are reliable and accurate, system and process capabilities stay ahead of our product development plans and Co-ordinate and manage the creation, negotiation and enforcement of sourcing contracts Requirements Bachelor's degree in supply chain/operations or technical field 15
years of relevant experience in commodity and technology management Proven ability to move seamlessly from strategy to execution and deliver tangible results Proven ability to hire, train and develop top-notch teams Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence, negotiate, build consensus and make key strategic decisions Strong presentation skills and ability to work across all layers of the organization, particularly with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment Proven experience interfacing with suppliers in Asia and managing their performance Proactive and resourceful with strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to execute on multiple tasks simultaneously Source:
