Company Description Job Description Required Skills:
Minimum of three years of professional experience as a developer.
Demonstrated ability to independently develop and maintain automated data parsing, transformation, and distribution programs Strong, hands on professional Java programming experience, particularly in batch and real time large data set processing.
Demonstrated knowledge of SOA principles and techniques, including experience working with web services.
Hands on experience working with RDMS including Oracle, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.
Experience performing thorough application and systems testing; able to develop and execute complete test plans that ensure appropriate system behavior and functionality.
Skilled with common information systems security practices, policy administration, and user rights/access controls.
Exposure to formal software version control and build management processes - experience in related tools such as Subversion, Ant, Maven, etc.
Verbal and written communications skills sufficient to clearly convey technical information to users of all backgrounds and levels; ability to use standard English grammar and punctuation.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with other staff members and clients.
Ability to prioritize task and skill in estimating time and effort required for technical tasks and projects.
Ability to prepare documents that are clearly written, well organized, well structured, accurate, complete, cover all relevant issues, and are professional in appearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems (or similar) OR equivalent relevant professional experience.

Experience:
Working knowledge of encryption implementations of http, ftp, ssh.
Working knowledge with complex multi-tiered (web, application and database) systems.
Working knowledge of Raima database or Blackboard Optim systems.
Experience as a system administrator managing Unix/Linux based systems and networks.
