TE Connectivity is seeking to fill three Mechanical Engineering positions on the Menlo Park, CA campus.
RESPONSIBILITIES &
Qualifications:
- Design the electrical system packaging - By understanding the RF transmission characteristics, thermal requirement and mechanical requirement, the engineer design the packaging of small electrical system i.
e.
RF transmission module - Design the high speed cable termination to the RF module as a form of cable assembly connector Project mangement - Task discussion with electrical engineers.
- Model review to pass reliability test - Have a technical meeting with customers Quality problem analysis - Find out alternatives to settle down issues documents Personal development - Study & monitoring new trends of TE antenna solutions - Visit technical exhibition regularly to see whole industry trends - Study of mechanic and mold structure Education and Experience Academic Background :
Mechanics Years of Relevant Working Experience :
over 5 years Technical Requirement :
- Mechanical design basics (Tolerance analysis, Mechanical calculation, Data analysis) - Basic understanding in thermal design - A strong background in connectors and cable interconnects is preferable - Basic understanding of patent documents is preferrable Source:
